Background
PLP Construction required a complete groundworks package for a three-block apartment and a further nine residential properties. The works involved the installation of 1,050mm diameter concrete pipes, 2,100mm diameter concrete manholes, adopted road construction with a tarmac finish and a concrete ground beam to complete a piled foundation. Due to the complexity and scale of the project, PLP chose PKB Civils as we could provide an end-to-end solution tailored to their unique requirements.
Outcome
We know time is of the essence on every project. So when working with PLP Construction, our team ensured we were always on-track to deliver the groundworks on-time and within budget. Phase one of the project started in June 2021 and thanks to our team’s rapid mobilisation times and first-class installation expertise, we completed the works within six months and left the site in December 2021. PLP Construction were delighted with PKB Civils’ work, and we’ve now been tasked with completing further external works and plot drainage connections on Dob Brook Close.
